Introduction

Syiah Kuala University (Indonesian: Universitas Syiah Kuala. Unsyiah) is the largest and the oldest national university in Aceh Province, Sumatera Island, Indonesia. Unsyiah was established on June 21st, 1961. Establishment of UNSYIAH was driven by a spirit to form an institution to bring the Acehnese to become educated, knowledgeable and pious to God Almight. Unsyiah has a vision to establish itself as an innovative, independent, and outstanding university in term of the development of sciences, technology, humanities, sport and arts, in order to produce qualified graduates who highly honour moral and ethical values. Annual International Conference (AIC) conference is a forum of information distribution, scientific discussion of literature, research, innovative and sustainable technology, industry product etc. AIC activity has been carried out regularly by Syiah Kuala University since 2011. This year, Syiah Kuala University will host the 5th Annual International Conference (the 5th AIC) in conjunction with the 8th Chemical Engineering on Science and Application (the 8th ChESA) conference. Conference Programs

This conference even will present keynote speakers, poster and oral parallel presentation. Interested participants have to deliver abstract and the papers online. All presentations and discussions will be carried out in a forum. The language of the conference is English. Activity will be carried out for 3 days with arranged program as below:

September 09-10, 2015:

Registration, opening speech, key note session, parallel session, poster session, and closing remark.

September 11, 2015:

Sightseeing tour (tsunami affected area and museum, kapal apung, mesjid raya).

Oral Presentations

The presentation will include 10 minutes talk and 5 minutes discussion. Please prepare your presentation file in MS PowerPoint® format.

Poster Presentation

Each poster will be assigned to one board, which is 0.9 m in width and 1.2 m in height. Please design poster as a A0 paper size (841 mm x 1189 mm). The AIC staff will supply materials for mounting the posters, and the posters will be mounted before the conference starts. Five Best Awards will be given during the closing ceremony.
